2009, acrylic glass, gold leaf, H 73.5 cm x W 536 cm x D 2.3 cm

The work consist of up to twelve engraved acrylic glass triangles, looking on the first sight like set squares used in geometry classes in Germany. The triangles are arranged in a row upside down against each other. The sine wave the triangles form are coated in gold leaf. The wavelength of the sine wave is the artists step length of one full stride, the measure from the position of the heel when it is raised from the ground to the point the same heel is set down again at the end of the step. The size and the scale of the set squares so evolves both from this body dimension.
