The work »Freeze!« took place at sub-zero weather in February 2003. Over a period of several hours Valentin Beinroth and Florian Jenett placed about 50 replicas of handguns in downtown Frankfurt, Germany. The guns were made from tinted frozen water, making them look real on first sight. With these the two created realistic situations, leaving the replicas behind as if they have been lost or dumped. This activity was stopped by the police.
